The Florida Marlins are constructing what will be the 6th Major League Baseball stadium with a retractable roof, and could also be the first retractable roof ballpark to be Silver LEED Certified. With a planned seating capacity of 37,000 it will be the smallest Major League Baseball stadium by actual capacity. Built on the site of the former Miami Orange Bowl, the project is slated for completion in April 2012.
