| This major league baseball stadium, home to the Kansas City Royals, is part of the Treman Sports Complex. Kauffman Stadium was built specifically for baseball during an era when multisport stadiums were commonplace. It is often held up along with Dodger Stadium as one of the best examples of modernist stadium design. The stadium's recent renovation began after the 2007 season and was completed in July 2009. |
