PMC was founded by its managing director Jeffrey R. Appelbaum in 1997 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Thompson Hine LLP law firm. Jeff, who has more than 30 years of experience in the practice of construction law, saw the need for construction consulting services beyond legal representation to satisfy the project management needs of project owners. In establishing PMC, he assembled a team of professionals with extensive experience in design, construction consulting, construction management, partnering facilitation, owner’s representation and financial services.
